On Wednesday, October 30th @ 2:15pm, we'll be hosting three authors in our Hammond High Media Center! Laura Shovan, Faye McCray, and Meg Eden will be sharing their thoughts on writing and you'll have an opportunity to learn from them as well as ask questions about their work and writing process.

Do you have dreams of writing a book? Have you started a book, but never finished? Why wait? NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writer’s Month) is held each November to encourage writers of all ages to complete a book by the end of November. Hammond will be sponsoring a NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program. We’ll provide you with the space, equipment, and teacher support that you’ll need to complete your masterpiece. To help kick off our event, on Wednesday October 30th at 2:15pm, the Media Center will be hosting THREE local authors; Laura Shovan, Faye McCray, and Meg Eden.
