The Registration period for the 2022 Advanced Placement (AP) Exams is open. The exams are scheduled for the weeks of May 2-6 and May 9-13. To register for the exams, students should fill out the google survey titled “Hammond’s AP Testing Registration Form 2021-2022 " by November 15th at 3 pm. Students must also have a College Board account and join their specific class with a join code given by your teacher. If you are not in the portal, you will not be ordered a test. The exam fee is $96/exam. Payment will be collected from January 24th-March 13th. Any student who does not pay by March 13, 2022 will be unable to sit for an exam in May. Students who are eligible for financial assistance may take the exams at $15 but they still must register. Eligibility criteria are listed in the survey instructions.
Students who are not in AP classes but wish to register for an AP exam, please contact Ms. Cannon for exam only join codes.
Exams ordered between November 16 and March 15 for full-year or first-semester courses incur a $40 late order fee in addition to the exam fee.
If you decide after the November ordering deadline not to take an exam that was ordered for you, the charge is $40 per exam instead of the full exam fee. The $40 fee applies to any unused or canceled exam, including an exam ordered for a student who qualifies for a College Board fee reduction. It’s important to tell your AP coordinator if you decide not to take an exam.
If you have any questions please contact Ms. Cannon (Hammond’'s AP Coordinator) @ alison_cannon@hcpss.org
