The Vision
Hammond High School’s literary and art magazine The Vision received the ranking of Excellent from the National Council of Teachers of English in The Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines Program for 2018. The Vision was one of nine Maryland school publications acknowledged for its merit. Nationally, 358 high schools submitted their art and literary magazine for judging.
This year’s edition included QR Codes that linked to student videos and music compositions. The 2018 Editor-in-Chiefs of The Vision were Ina O’Ryan and Jasmine Joseph, and the staff advisor was Mary K. Goff. Congratulations to all students and staff involved in the making of the 2018 edition of The Vision!
The Vision is currently accepting submissions for its 2019 edition. Please encourage your student to submit to this award winning publication. Submission forms are outside room 512, Mrs. Goff’s room.
