Next week is Start with Hello Week at Hammond sponsored by the SGA!  The goal of this week is to prevent social isolation and inclusion of all students in the school day.  Each day, there will be a different activity for inclusion: 
- Nametags for everyone on Monday 2/6
- Positivity Wall during lunches on Tuesday 2/7
- Icebreakers during Bear Time on Wednesday 2/8
- #StandTogether during lunches on Thursday 2/9
- No One Eats Alone during lunches on Friday 2/10

It's also Fashion Week sponsored by the Fashion Club; be sure to dress to impress in each day's theme:
- Decades Day (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s) on Monday 2/6
- Pattern Day on Tuesday 2/7
- Hammond's Best Dressed on Wednesday 2/8
- Celebrity Day on Thursday 2/9
- Denim Day on Friday 2/10

We are also excited for:
- Open Mic Night on Friday 2/3 from 6-8pm in the cafeteria; $5 to attend; all proceeds benefit the Pick Me Up Foundation
- STEM Fair on Thursday 2/9 in the media center (judging during periods 1-3; awards at 7:00pm)
- Black History Month Assembly on Friday 2/10 during period 6 
- Empty Bowls on Friday 2/10 from 5-7pm in the cafeteria; all proceeds benefit Grassroots; $10 for a bowl to keep and all-you-can-eat soups/stews
- Strive for a Five student-led AP Workshops on Tuesday 2/14 and Thursday 2/16 afterschool
- Hammond Jazz Band and Navy Jazz Commodores on Thursday 2/16 at 7:00pm (free!)
