The Slogan of NTHS is “Excellence in American’s Workforce Begins with Excellence in Workforce Education”.
The Mission of the National Technical Honor Society is to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, award scholarships, and enhance career opportunities.
The Hammond Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society was founded in 2014.  The requirements for induction are:

A GPA of 3.0 unweighted
Completion of a Career and Technical Education class
Current enrollment in a Career and Technical Education class
A Service component which is determined at the beginning of each school year
Positive character references from CTE teachers
Positive review of disciplinary actions during the school years of membership

 
NTHS currently has not established a regular meeting day or time.  Membership is by application and fulfillment of the requirements.
