Science National Honor Society (SNHS)

Do you want to be a member of the Science National Honor Society?  Here's How: 

Fill out the following Google forms by September 26th:

- SNHS Application 

- SNHS Teacher Recommendation Form (you need TWO of these) 

 

You must complete the Application as well as TWO Science Teacher Recommendations.  Check in (Room C142) or Canvas message Mrs. Ferraro if you have any questions or email at maria_ferraro@hcpss.org

 

SNHS Requirements:

A member must have and maintain a 3.0 grade point average. 
A member must be currently enrolled in a science class.
A member must be enrolled in at least one GT or Honors level science class during or prior to the eleventh-grade year.
A member must be enrolled in at least one second year GT science class during or prior to the twelfth grade year.
A member must be enrolled in at least one upper level science class during the twelfth grade year.
A member must maintain a 3.5 GPA across all science courses.

Announcements:

Once accepted, SNHS dues are $25 and will need to be paid prior to the induction ceremony.  Check the bulletin board in the Science Atrium for more information.
