The National English Honor Society (NEHS) is an organization having the primary goals of recognizing, on the national level, those who, on the basis of academic grades and performance, merit special note for past and current accomplishments, of nurturing members to further develop in the various fields of English, and of encouraging members to use their talents in the service of others.  Our chapter, Up the Down Staircase, was begun in 2017.  It is open to qualifying juniors and seniors.  Material and information to be distributed in the early fall.
