Media Analysis Club is an art and literature based club centered around analyzing movies, shows, games, books, and other content in a fun way. In the Media Analysis Club, students will submit suggestions for school-friendly media to analyze, which will then be put into a random draw to determine what the topic for the meeting will be. Once a piece of media is selected, students will engage in discussions about the media’s strengths, weaknesses, and interesting points. Students will engage in activities and challenges, such as rewrite competitions, scene ranking, character breakdowns, parodies, and debates for/against a piece of media’s value.
