Student Technology Needs & Requests

Chromebook Needs –

High School students in need of a Chromebook for the upcoming school year should complete the “Student Technology Request” prior to August 21st to ensure device availability prior to the first day of school.  Students are able to continue submitting requests throughout the year.  

  • Parent/Guardian should complete “Student Technology Request” in HCPSS Connect 
  • After completing the form, parents/guardians will receive a confirmation email with necessary information including pick-up location, date, and time.  


Internet Needs – 

Any family without internet access should indicate this when submitting the "Student Technology Request" (directions below). HCPSS is working with the Bright Minds Foundation and Comcast to support families who may be eligible to participate in the Comcast Internet Essentials program. Additionally, HCPSS will prioritize distribution of a limited number of hot spots to families who cannot obtain access to the internet.  


How to Submit Student Technology Request  

Direction Guides: English |  Chinese | Korean | Spanish 

  • Parents/Guardians should log into HCPSS Connect. Requests need to be made through the parent/guardian HCPSS Connect account for each student (top right corner of screen)  
  • From the left menu, select "More Options" (last choice) 
  • Choose "Student Technology Form" (center of the screen) 
  • Use the drop down arrows to indicate the Technology Requested for each student. Changes are saved immediately.
