Diploma Pick-Up - June 1st

Wed, 05/27/2020 - 6:07pm

Good evening,
Tomorrow,  Monday, June 1, Hammond High School's class of 2020 will be safely driving through our school parking lot to pick up their Maryland High School Diploma.  In addition, graduates will be dropping off school materials and receiving a PTSA gift bag. While we are excited to see our students' smiling faces, we need to continue to maintain all of the required health precautions, such as social distancing and PPE (gloves, masks), to keep our students and community safe.

Seniors - We encourage you to wear your cap and gown to diploma distribution. We will have a photo opportunity set up for you in front of the health room with the Hammond High School backdrop. After you have received your diploma, as you exit the parking lot, turn right into the bus loop and follow the directions of the staff.  We are still following social distancing guidelines and wearing masks on campus.

We are committed to eventually having an in-person celebration for our graduates when conditions are safe to do so. At that time we will be thrilled to encourage lots of picture taking, celebrating, hugs, and hand shakes. As for now though, we need to celebrate safely and stay focused on what is to come. This is an amazing senior class!
