And if you still need to purchase a cap/gown, please see the info at the bottom of this page.

This event is for Seniors only. Similar collection for underclassmen will be scheduled at a later date.  Please pay close attention to the details below:

  • Students will need to bring the following school owned materials for return including:
    • Textbooks
    • Media Materials
    • Chromebooks (only if you have finished all coursework)
    • Any other obligations or items belonging to HaHS or HCPSS
    • Athletic & musical equipment
  • Place all textbooks and materials to be returned to HaHS in a plastic/shopping/grocery bag or box (the bag/box will not be returned to you).
  • Please place books, athletic/musical equipment, and technology in separate bags/boxes.
  • Include a Book/Materials Collection Form in the bag; this can either be printed and filled in, or you can simply write the information on a sheet of paper (name, number, teacher).

  • Walkers, please ensure proper social distancing
  • Vehicle occupants must remain in their car at all times during pickup/dropoff.
  • To help expedite the process, please write your student's last name on a piece of paper and place it on the front dash of your car, so that it will be visible for staff as you arrive.
  • See the map below
  • Upon arrival at the school parking lot, follow the established traffic pattern.
  • Arrive using the main parking lot on the side of Hammond High School (not the front bus loop) per the map.

  • School staff will direct you to the sign in area <S1> (don't leave your car), then to the cap/gown/cord pick-up area <S2>, then to the school books/laptops/materials drop-off area <S3>.
  • From there you will be directed to the bus loop in front of the building <S4> If you would like to take a 5 second video/picture in front of a Hammond backdrop for our virtual graduation. Please pull up in line and stay in your car until a staff member comes to get you. You will need to have your own smart phone to take the video/picture.
