Student Access to Technology Survey

UPDATE

Devices for Distance Learning: FedEx backlogs have delayed delivery of some devices. Teachers have been informed of delays and will be flexible with students. Families who need to borrow a device may submit a new or updated request via HCPSS Connect. Details on student technology devices, including technology requirements and instructions for requesting a device, can be found online. We know some needs may change as students and families begin to follow their respective Continuity of Learning Schedules. Families may request a device at any time.

Student Technology Survey
All HCPSS families are requested to complete the HCPSS Student Technology Survey. Student device information is available on the HCPSS website. Please indicate on the first question whether technology and access are available at home, and if not available, complete the remaining questions. It is important that all families complete the survey so we can best assess our student needs. Starting Monday (3/30), our student services staff and school administrators will begin reaching out to families, with a specific focus on families who may require interpretation services or may not have internet access to complete the survey online. We also plan to provide print copies at meal distribution sites and have staff available to assist families in survey completion.

Comcast Internet Essentials
To help connect more families to the internet at home, Comcast is offering two months of free internet to new Internet Essential customers. The Comcast program is open to Free and Reduced Meals (FARMs) program participants, or those eligible for FARMs. Applications will be accepted through April 30. Details online
