The Howard County Mathematics League holds 8 competitions between all 12 high schools during the school year.  At each competition, students individually complete 6 difficult problems without a calculator and then collaborate in small groups to complete 5 team problems that are ofent more challenging.  We practice each week and have a competition each month from September through March.
